Process Assumptions


1. Participation in the Oklahoma Quality Award Application process is a

university-wide initiative with executive level support

 
2. UCO’s participation in the process is focused on organizational

improvement. The self-study process and the feedback process will be

used as part of UCO’s continuous improvement process.


3. The process will be conducted with honesty and integrity as we seek to

understand and develop ourselves as a system.


4. Broad involvement will lead to the broadest improvement. Faculty and

staff input will be sought at all steps in the process. Faculty and staff asked

to participate in any given phase of the process will be supported for their

efforts.
